Shopping Center Awning Cleaning in Jonesboro, GA

The property

Lovejoy Village is a shopping center at 10375 Tara Blvd in Jonesboro. The storefronts sit under a mix of standing-seam metal awnings and fabric awnings, with glass storefronts below.

The job

The property manager asked for all the awnings on the center to be cleaned. To build the scope, we captured every awning we could see on Google Street View, sent the screenshots back, and asked whether we had missed any and whether the outparcel building was included. The estimate covered two items:

• Awning cleaning: cleaned with professional brushes, soap and low pressure.
• Exterior window cleaning: the storefront glass, windows and doors, done after the awnings, since runoff from a wash can leave soap and water residue on glass.

The crew photographed and marked pre-existing tears and damage on some of the fabric awnings, so their condition was on record before cleaning. The awnings were washed at night on September 2, 2025, and the windows were cleaned on September 4.

The result

The property manager chose before and after photos instead of a site walkthrough. The photos above include a green metal awning streaked with dirt before cleaning and a metal awning after, a fabric awning with mildew on the trim above it, the storefronts at night, and the glass during the window cleaning.
