Drone Pressure Washing & Soft Washing

The dirtiest parts of a commercial building are usually the hardest to reach. Drone washing puts the spray where it needs to go without lifts, scaffolding or rope access: a tethered drone carries the hose up the facade, and the crew stays off the building while it gets washed.

• FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot
• Drone liability insurance, with a certificate of insurance on request
• High-rise capable: washes buildings up to 80 stories

What we wash by drone

• Mid-rise and high-rise office buildings, towers and hotels
• Upper floors and parapets
• Glass curtain walls and upper-story windows
• Rooflines, overhangs and canopies
• Parking deck facades
• Walls above landscaping or slopes where a lift can’t set up

Soft washing, not blasting

Most of what people call drone pressure washing is really soft washing. The drone applies a cleaning solution at low pressure and then rinses it off, so the solution does the work instead of force. It is the same method we use from a lift on a building wash. Sidewalks, plazas and other flatwork are still cleaned from the ground with surface cleaners.

Drone or lift?

A drone is usually quicker to set up than a boom lift, keeps heavy equipment off lawns and planting beds, and blocks fewer entrances and parking spaces. A lift or a ground crew is still the better tool for low buildings, detailed hand work and ground-level surfaces. We will tell you which fits after a walkthrough, and many jobs use both.

How a drone wash works

We walk the property first: what the building is made of, where water and power are, what needs protecting, and whether the site allows a flight. As on any building wash, doors and openings are sealed before we start. We can also film the building from the air before and after, for your records or your marketing. The drone footage on this site, a multi-story hotel and a brick mid-rise, is our own work.
