Shopping Center Pressure Washing in Suwanee, GA

The property

Suwanee Jubilee is an open-air shopping center at 1500 Peachtree Industrial Blvd in Suwanee. Shops and restaurants face brick paver walkways and concrete sidewalks. There are awnings over the storefronts, a central courtyard with fountains, low brick walls and planters, and a tall brick street sign.

The job

The property manager approved the scope in late September 2023, and the work was done in three visits:

• September 28: pavers, sidewalks and curbs from the end of the courtyard fountain along the storefront walkway; all awnings on the property except one outparcel building and the grocery store; the back fountain wall in the courtyard; and the concrete pad inside one dumpster enclosure, with the property manager coordinating the removal of the dumpster beforehand.
• October 3: a second stretch of pavers, sidewalks and curbs between two other storefronts.
• October 9: the shopping center street sign, cleaned of dirt, algae and mildew.

On the walkways we used a degreaser to loosen stains, a surface cleaner to lift the dirt, and a hot, high-pressure rinse. Awnings were cleaned with professional brushes, soap and low pressure. The approved scope also included the small masonry walls in the courtyard. The stairs behind the fountain and the large retaining walls next to them were not part of this job.

The result

The photos above show the courtyard pavers and storefront sidewalks after a night wash, moss-stained pavers outside a storefront before cleaning, the surface cleaner at work, and a brick wall with an iron fence before and after. The dark mildew along the face of that wall is gone.

Suwanee Jubilee is a repeat property for us. Its dumpster pads and enclosures were cleaned in August 2023 and one enclosure again in March 2024.
