Commercial building exterior cleaning for shopping centers, office buildings, HOAs and apartment communities across metro Atlanta. A building wash cleans the entire exterior surface and removes dirt, debris, cobwebs, algae, mold, mildew and other surface stains from the facade.
We use a soft washing, high-volume, low-pressure method. The cleaning solution loosens the growth and grime and a high-volume rinse carries it away, so the facade is cleaned thoroughly without the damage high pressure can do. That matters most on painted finishes and sealant joints, which do not tolerate a pressure washer.
Water getting inside is the biggest worry on any building wash, so we deal with it before we start. Doors are sealed with waterproof tape to prevent water intrusion, and anything sensitive on the elevation is discussed with your team when the work is scoped.
Order matters. Upper coping is cleaned first, then the building, then the glass, because the water and soap from a wash leave residue on windows and glass doors. Window cleaning is highly recommended after every building wash.
Quotes can be split by elevation, for example the front and sides on one line and the back of the building on another, so you can approve the part that matters most first. Building height, roof access, lift access and water supply all shape the scope, and we confirm them before scheduling. At retail centers the work is usually done overnight so tenants are not disrupted.
Mold, mildew and algae hold moisture against paint, sealants and facade materials, and that moisture is what breaks finishes down. Regular soft washing removes the growth before it shortens repainting and repair cycles.
Mold, mildew and pollen build up on exterior walls around entrances, walkways and outdoor seating, where tenants, staff and visitors spend time. A building wash removes them from the surfaces people walk past every day.
A careless wash can force water into a building and damage the facade. We soft wash at low pressure and seal doors with waterproof tape before starting. A clean facade also makes cracks and failing sealant easier to spot while they are still small repairs.
The facade is the largest surface a prospective tenant, customer or resident sees. A clean exterior supports leasing, keeps a retail center looking cared for and meets the appearance standards in leases and HOA rules. Scheduling after pollen season keeps the result looking fresh longer.
