Fountain & Water Feature Cleaning on a commercial property in metro Atlanta

Commercial fountain cleaning for courtyard fountains, plaza water features and entrance features at shopping centers, office buildings, campuses and HOA communities across metro Atlanta. We clean the fountain and the walls and masonry around it of mold, algae and other surface stains.

At Suwanee Jubilee shopping center we cleaned the courtyard fountain and its masonry wall alongside the center’s sidewalks.

What we clean

We clean the water feature and the hard surfaces that frame it.

  • Courtyard and plaza fountains
  • Entrance water features
  • Fountain walls and the masonry around them
  • Seating walls and paving next to the feature, when they are in the scope

How we do it

We remove mold, algae and stains with a cleaning solution and pressure matched to the surface. Before scheduling, we confirm whether the feature can be shut off or drained, and where water and power are nearby.

Each feature is quoted separately. A large courtyard fountain and a small entrance feature are different jobs, and separate lines let you approve them one at a time.

If an old stain lightens but does not come out completely, we tell you in writing with the before-and-after photos.

How often to schedule fountain cleaning

More often than almost anything else on a property. Constant moisture brings algae back faster on a fountain than anywhere else, so fountains suit a recurring monthly or quarterly visit rather than a yearly one. A fountain can join a recurring program with the sidewalks and courtyard around it.

What affects the quote

Fountain cleaning is priced feature by feature, not from a rate card. These are the things that move the number:

  • The size of each fountain and how many features the property has
  • How much algae and staining has built up
  • Whether the feature can be shut off or drained before we arrive
  • The walls, seating and paving around it that you want included
  • Water and power access nearby
  • A one-time cleaning or a recurring schedule
  • Night or weekend scheduling around visitors and tenants

Why it matters

Safety

Algae on fountain edges, seating walls and the paving around a feature is slippery when wet, and around a fountain it is wet most of the time. Cleaning removes the growth from the surfaces people sit on and walk past.

Appearance

A fountain is the centerpiece of a courtyard or entrance, and the first thing to look neglected when algae takes hold. A clean feature makes the whole space look maintained.

Longevity

Algae and stains left on a fountain build up with every season and get harder to shift. Regular cleaning with pressure matched to the surface keeps the feature and its masonry in good condition.

Health

Constant moisture grows mold and algae on a fountain faster than anywhere else on a property. Regular cleaning keeps that growth off the surfaces visitors touch and sit on.

Questions about fountain & water feature cleaning

Do you clean commercial fountains and water features?

Yes. We clean courtyard fountains, plaza water features and entrance features at shopping centers, office buildings, campuses and HOA communities across metro Atlanta, removing mold, algae and other surface stains from the fountain and the walls and masonry around it. At Suwanee Jubilee shopping center we cleaned the courtyard fountain and its masonry wall. Each feature is quoted as its own line.

How often should a commercial fountain be cleaned?

More often than most surfaces on a property. Constant moisture brings algae back faster on a fountain than anywhere else, so fountains suit a recurring monthly or quarterly visit rather than a yearly one. Fountains in shade or under trees need it most. We can quote it as a recurring line alongside your other exterior cleaning.

Why is each fountain quoted separately?

Because each one is a different job. A large courtyard fountain and a small entrance feature differ in size, build-up, access and how much surrounding masonry is included. Listing each feature as its own line lets you approve them one at a time and see exactly what each one costs.

What do you need to know to quote fountain cleaning?

A few details and some photos. Tell us how many features there are, roughly how large each one is, whether it can be shut off or drained before we arrive, and where water and power are nearby. Photos of anything unusual help. We then confirm the scope at a walkthrough and send a written, itemized proposal.
